Ryanair continues to offer low fares

Ryanair is a popular low fair airline, and is currently Europe's largest low fares carrier. It has bases in 12 European bases and a fleet of over 100 Boeing 737-800 aircraft. It is a direct competitor of Easyjet, and must thus maintain its low fares in order to maintain its market position. Cheap flights have become commoditised and there is little advantage to be had in a brand name.

Ryanair aims to deliver low fares, excellent customer service, frequent point-to-point flights on short haul routes, low operating costs, a strong internet presence and commitment to safety and quality maintenance.

Destinations for Ryanair flights include Dublin, London, Madrid, Paris, Nice, Berlin and Rome. It serves over 200 routes between about 103 airports. However, passengers should note that some smaller airports may be located farther from city centres than their main airports.

While relatively young, Ryanair has been praised for its commitment to exceptionally low fares, its radical management, its willingness to challenge the airline industry and its populism.
