POKER: Lucky Run Continues

My lucky run at the Ladbrokes SNG's continues. I'm not too sure what the exact cause of my luck as been. Primarily I'm just utilising a tight-aggressive strategy. I rarely call in SNGs. I prefer to raise or fold. Chips are so precious in SNGs, that calling can easily dwindle a stack of chips to nothing. Maybe if I tried treating a cash table like a SNG I'd do a lot better?

Poker Office thinks that I'm Tight Aggressive / Aggressive in SNGs. But only Tight Aggressive / Neutral in cash games. This behavioural difference requires some future analysis. As a quick note to users of Texas Calculatem, I only use Texas Calculatem in limit holdem games. It's lack of bet size recommendations makes it unsuitable for NL, in my view.

Outside of Poker, I've just ordered Juice his birthday present off ebay. I hope it arrives in one piece.

Work is starting to get quiet for the summer months. While those fancy fund managers go off to their summer retreats, I shall be grinding away at my workstation. However, the lack of big fish in the pond has reduced the number of opportunities so I've been putting in many hours into Final Fantasy 3. It's very addictive and is reminding me of my mispent youth. A pity I didn't know how to gamble at 15.
