I think I'm still jetlagged from the States.

Went to bed at 11.30pm last night. Was still awake at 2am!!! At 5.30am my phone received a text message, but I didn't bother to check it. Upon my alarm going off at 6.35am I decided that I may as well check out which idiot was texting me at 5.30am. I was expecting it to be my accountant, giving me the latest news on yet another arbitrage opportunity. But no! It was from a colleague who had broken his back in the gym, and who wanted me to cover his late shift. So back to sleep I went. Except that I couldn't sleep anymore. And I had a dodgy position from last night so I had to log in (and had my first broadband problems with HomeChoice at the same time!) at 8am to ask my boss to sort it out for me (which he kindly did). After that my mind was too awake for sleep so I popped off to the supermarket. What fun.

Anyway. I've now had a nice cup of tea and done a few productive things on the web front. I purchased phplinkdirectory 3.xx and installed it. When the subdomain propagates around the web you'll be able to see it at http://dir.blapper.com/. It's basically a web directory site, and visitors can add their own sites to it for free. I've already added a few of my favourite blogs to it.

Final point of interest. Juice's dream babe, Gemma Hayes, has just had her latest gig advertised on the radio. Looks like her posters will be adorning more teenage bedrooms in the future. A pity you can't go long celebrities with real money.
