Muay Thai and a good bottom r***

Here's another post that has absolutely nothing to do with Poker...

After a 5 year absense I returned to the world of Thai Boxing. i.e. I got off my arse, found a gym, and went for a class. The gym is new. Only openned in January. And is 15-20 minutes door to door from my Balham pad. Nice!

The coach was a nice friendly chap. A 55 year old Thai dude. Reminded me of my old coach from Coventry who used to try and wheel and deal Thai Boxing related merchandise from his car boot after class. I used to barter with him and was even made an honourary Indian for my skills. Anyway, I digress...

The other class members consisted of my accountant, a chap called Kurt, a tall Lithuanian, and the coach's primary school aged grand daughter.

Technically, the class was similar, yet different to my old Thai club. The footwork included steps. Where the footwork from my old club consisted of "shuffles" and the left leg was always in front. I'm not sure of the reason for this. Perhaps it's an older style that isn't focussed entirely on ring fighting. In ring fighting styles the student is often taught to keep one foot forward. But this requirement is not retained in non-ring fighting. As you can't really shuffle around if the floor isn't perfectly flat.

I'm tired and may write more later. In the $500 challenge, we have already been butt f**ked by Pay** for $17. I transferred $500 and we were charged $17 for the privelage.
