I decided to try a 5 player NL SNG as preparation for some NL with Little Acorn Man. My skills are severely lacking...
I'm UTG and dealt AJo. I raise 4BB.
UTG+1 calls. So does the small blind.
The flop is 542 rainbow. I've totally missed. The big blind checks. I decide to try bluffing it out and bet the pot. Both players call.
The turn is a ten. I've totally missed again
Big blind checks.
What should I do?
Anyway, I can 2nd due to exceptionally lame check and all-in plays. Won $0.70. I'm such a big winner!

Mr Edge,Wether to lead out again on the turn with a hand like AK,AQ or AJ after having missed the flop is always a tough decision.I favour a decent sized bet but if you check and end up showing its not always bad because wether you win or not you played "honestly" so the next time your'e in a similar situation at the same table your pot size continuation bet after the turn ( if you missed again) should get more respect assuming your opponents have been paying attention.

First learn how to play the positions; UTG is one of the worst place to bluff.You have no idea what UTG+1 has.
I put him on a straight draw with the ace but who know if he dont have hit a set with a PocketPair.
Betting the pot with such a weak flop always show a bluff. Sometimes betting only half the pot is enough to make them fold and can show an Overpair. That way you are saving your chips if your bluff dont work and you have less to bet on the turn and the river to make a good-sized bet.
If you decided to bluff, dont change of strategy halfway, bluff it till the river. If it work you may earn 90BB. Fold only if raised.
