AKo from the button

I sat down. No reads. At a 10 player NL ring game.

The action is all folded to me. I have AKo. So I raise 4 SB. The BB goes all in. To call I'd have to go all in.

What should I do?

N.B. The opponent was JGildo. I don't have any Poker Office stats on him yet.

Fold Mr Edge. If he has any pair you're a slight underdog. You don't know how he plays or how his night has gone so far.

Of course the one advantage to going all in with AK is that it gets you all 5 community cards and not just the flop so more chance to hit your A or K...

What did you do and what was the outcome?

Thanks for the tip Mr Acorn.

I decided to fold. After all my losses I didn't want to risk another buyin!

He didn't show so I don't know what he had.

Last night I got rivered. I had KK over pair to Jxx board. The other guy went all in. I thought he was tilted and called. He had J2o (after calling my 4SB raise!) and hit his 2, to make two pair, on the river.

Re your KK being busted by J2.That was very unlucky.Hope you took his name for future reference!

Oh no. I forgot! There's so much stuff on my todo list. Why can't someone put more hours into the day?
